On Saturday, August 24, in Austin, TX, we are excited to announce the induction of the 2024 Texas Rugby Union Hall of Fame Class. The prestigious event will take place at the historic Austin Airport Hilton, commencing with a delightful cocktail hour at 6:00 PM.
During this memorable evening, we will honor the Hall of Fame inductees, present the esteemed Alan Sharpley Award, and celebrate the 2001 Baylor University Rugby team for their USA Rugby Men’s Division 2 Collegiate National Championship win.

Airport
When traveling to the Austin Airport Hilton, you’ll want to fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The Hilton Austin Airport is just two minutes from the terminal and is the only hotel on airport grounds, offering a free shuttle service.
Hotel
We have organized a group of rooms at the Austin Airport Hilton [MAP] with a special discounted rate of $149 per night for 1 King Bed or $169 for 2 Queen Beds. It’s important to know that these rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kindly note that this room block will be valid until August 9. If you encounter any issues or receive a notification stating that no rooms are available before then, please contact us at traci@texasrugbyunion.com. We will promptly inform the hotel and explore the possibility of securing additional rooms.
Tickets
You have the option to purchase individual tickets or tables for the event. If you prefer a table, simply adjust the quantity to 10 seats. For two tables, adjust the quantity to 20, and so forth. As you make your selection, a 10% discount will be automatically applied, and you can review the discounted price in your cart.
Kindly be aware that ticket sales will close on Sunday, August 18, and no tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Make sure to secure your tickets before the deadline.

Refund Policy
Full refunds for banquet tickets are available if requested at least 2 weeks before the event. After that, a 50% refund will be issued, as supplies have already been placed in preparation for the event.
