The Texas Rugby Union Hall of Fame Weekend is set to take place August 29, 2026, in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, bringing together members of the Texas rugby community to celebrate the individuals who have helped shape and grow the game across the state. This year’s event holds extra significance as the ultimate culmination of our 55th anniversary celebration, honoring fifty-five years of rugby history since our founding in 1971.
This special weekend will honor the legacy, dedication, and impact of players, coaches, administrators, referees, and supporters whose contributions have left a lasting mark on rugby in Texas. The Hall of Fame serves as a way to recognize the people who have helped build the sport’s rich history while continuing to inspire the next generation of players and leaders.
The weekend will include a series of events celebrating Texas rugby’s past, present, and future. Members of the rugby community, supporters, and guests will have the opportunity to gather, reconnect, and recognize those who have made significant contributions to the game.
While the Dallas–Fort Worth area will host this year’s Hall of Fame weekend, additional details regarding venues, event programming, and the inductee class will be announced in the coming weeks as planning continues.
The Texas Rugby Union looks forward to welcoming members of the rugby community from across the region for a weekend dedicated to celebrating the legacy of the game in Texas.
More information, including event details, schedule updates, and inductee announcements, will be added to this page as they become available.
