The Texas Rugby Union (TRU) has officially opened ticket sales and hotel room blocks for the 2026 Hall of Fame Weekend, taking place August 28-30, 2026, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This year’s event holds extra significance as the ultimate culmination of our 55th anniversary celebration, honoring fifty-five years of rugby history since our founding in 1971.
The main event will take place on Saturday, August 29, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine DFW Airport North. The evening kicks off with a welcoming social hour at 6:00 PM, followed by the Hall of Fame Banquet from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This year, the TRU will proudly induct its 11th Hall of Fame Class, honoring five outstanding members of the Texas rugby community: Jay Arbizu, Mike Slagle, Aaron Cahoon, Deena Telley, and Mike Kwedar.
Tickets Now Available
Individual tickets and full tables are now available for purchase online. Tickets are priced at $125 each, which is all-inclusive of credit card processing fees. Groups purchasing full tables of 10 seats will automatically receive a 10% discount at checkout.
Please note that all ticket sales will close on Friday, August 14, 2026, and absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door.

The TRU has secured a dedicated block of rooms at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine DFW Airport North, located at 2401 Bass Pro Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051.
The exclusive group rate includes:

- A discounted TRU overnight parking fee of $12 per night
